Maximum Traction for High-Power Tractors
The Trelleborg TM900 High Power is a product line specially developed to be fitted on equipment with a high load capacity requirement needing to transfer high torque to the ground. Co-designed with major agricultural machine manufacturers, it equips FWD tractors from 250 to 400 hp at speeds of up to 40 mph. Due to its dimensional characteristics and optimized radial structure, TM900 High Power transfers the high torque of the biggest agricultural vehicles to the ground, generating great traction on all kinds of soils, while delivering outstanding road performance in terms of comfort and safety.
Increased Productivity, Great Savings in the Field
Plowing tests show that Trelleborg tires, in equal conditions and sizes, perform better than competitors both in terms of slippage and working time per acre.In reference tests using 710/70R42 and 600/70R30 sizes, a 360 hp tractor on 75% field / 25% road conditions plowed 1,235 acres in 15.4 min/acre with TM900 High Power, versus 15.8 min/acre for a premium competitor, 16.4 min/acre for the market average, and 17.2 min/acre for a budget competitor. Soil Protection and Wide Footprint
The TM900 High Power has a shallower, wider footprint than premium competitors. In tests at reference size 900/60R38, with a rear tire load of 10,253 lbs at 9 psi inflation, TM900 High Power delivered an 8% wider footprint versus a premium competitor. Fuel Efficiency on the Road
On road fuel consumption tests (710/70R42 and 600/70R30, 360 hp tractor, 50% road / 50% field, fuel at $4.41/gal), TM900 High Power indexes at 100 versus 106 for a premium competitor, 118 for the market average, and 138 for a budget competitor. Self-Cleaning Performance
The inter-lug terracing design maximizes mud ejection. In tests at size 710/70R42, TM900 High Power ran 34.5 feet before completely filling the tread with soil, versus 26.3 feet for both the premium and budget competitors and 27.9 feet for the market average.
