Trelleborg Honored with National Agricultural Tire Visãoagro Award in Brazil

In addition to receiving the award for ‘Best Agricultural Tire’ in the south-eastern region of Brazil for the third consecutive year at The VisãoAgro Awards, the performance of Trelleborg’s innovative agricultural tires in the sugar cane industry has also been recognized for the first time nationally.

The VisãoAgro Awards recognize and honor mills, distilleries and product manufacturers who have excelled in the areas of processing and production in the sugar cane industry. Companies are selected following research conducted by AR Enterprises, GEGIS and the Journal of Vision Agribusiness.

José Oliveira, Managing Director at Trelleborg in Brasil, commented: “After being recognized so enthusiastically for three years running by VisãoAgro for our efforts in the south-eastern region of Brazil, to receive a national accolade is a phenomenal feat. The 2016 VisãoAgro Awards ceremony, which was attended by over 300 representatives of some of the largest companies and plants in the sugarcane industry, was held in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo on 29th November.
